She has nice control over her voice, but there's something a little creepy about her annunciation in some parts of this song.

I agree with you...a lot of people think that jewel is just jumping the banwagon with a bunch of other pop singers going country...but she has been writing country songs since she was 16...tho jewel always claims that her first song was who will save your soul when she needed enough money to get back to school from spring break she sang that song first because she only knew 4 chords in only that order. so i believe that that was her first...but Don't she also wrote at 16.

jewel has an AMAZING voice and it takes a lot of talet to make your voice do all the things she is doing with it

it just makes me laugh to read these comments by people who are so incredibly ignorant and know nothing about the artist of whom they are watching the video of, lol. they just have too much time on their hands and want their voices to be heard. but sometimes, things are better left unsaid when the things that are said end up making one look like an idiotic fool. go back to watching britney spears videos if thats your interest and leave *real* artists be.

wow... this performance was amazing! Jewel has always been more on the country side. in fact, as i recall, the 1st song she ever wrote was when she was 16 and it was a country song called Don't which was later released on her Pieces of You cd. i'm glad she finally relased an album that was so close to home. as for the "Haters," they obviously know nothing about Jewel. i have been a fan of hers for over 10 yrs now and obviously theres a reason why. and its certainly not because shes a "poser" lol
