Joel Grey was superior, but damn, Alan Cumming did an amazing job.didn't really like the whole over-sexualized vibe of the revival, especially the Emcee. I prefer the marionette, wooden version. But for this production, it all kind of fits together.

i love alan cumming in this role but i feel like this number as a whole was a bit..low energy? maybe i shouldn't compare it to the original broadcast.
