Of the channels I subscribe to, you consistently get the best and most interesting comments. I think this is due to the topics you pick and the way you approach them. I hope you get as much out of making your videos as we get out of watching and responding to them.

Hi Tom (yes, I am still alive).I think there is too much red tape in civil law... clauses, legal tripwires, loopholes, etc.I am not against copywright protection. I just believe that if you use the material without fiscally gaining while giving the source credit it should be okay to do.After all, wouldn't that be free advertising for the source of the material?

I agree, as I said in my response vid to him, that his work was an artistic intent. Say what you want about your judgment of its effectiveness, the intent seems to fit this fair use criteria. But, hey, that's why there are courts. Thanks.

Yeah, I think there's an awful lot of symbolic stuff that goes on to show "good faith intent" in these instances where there are fifty times as many things that aren't being claimed that benefit the site tremendously. YT is at the forefront of rethinking all these IP models. First Napster, now YT...sooner or later a lot is going to change.
