Shame they split up in the 1987 or they would have been the best 90's band.I agree with the best of the 80's comment though.

How to open an album with style......So I broke into the palace with a sponge and a rusty spanner, she said "Eh, I know you and you cannot sing", I said 'You should hear me play piano....'

"Only real writers, creative people and free thinkers are into the smiths"If you are a fan of the Smiths, then you are, by this assumption, not a free thinker. Or if you are, you're a stupid one. You've generalized all people who listen to the Smiths as being "creative/free-thinking/", as if any person who does not listen to this group will be neither creative nor free-thinking. Secondly, if only real writers listen to the Smiths, then the opposite is... an "imaginary writer"?

There is no better band which can sum up living through your teenage years of angst and despair. Shame it all ended up in the courts with a big falling out.

We'll they are because they have an unusual singing style, morrissy is the last person you would say is conventional. And they're influences are pretty acclectic down to 60s soul and stuff. Only real writers, creative people and free thinkers are into the smiths making them a less conventional band to get into when compared to most of the trash thats in the charts nowadays

And that's a cold hard fact

By far, the best band of the 80's-early 90's |
