They're trying to keep up with the Studio Version which was near Impossible because for one it was done in a Studio with 15 Mikes, 7 Def-Aids(AMPS) That's why it sounds diffrent.

For those who criticize their performance, remember they sang at a time while no monitor for the singers themselves, which means they basically can't hear their own singing.
