wpa/wpa2 is not secure.using elcomsofts lightning hash cracker,wpa/wpa2 is not a problem using your gpu power, you dont need a word list any more to match the password, let this mother rip,its pieace a piss.basicly make a command bat file and it hammers the crap out of the cap hash file.i have heard about 2 wpa2 captures being done in 3 hours.check out elcomsofts site and down load for free "lhc cracker",and take alook at their other programs aswell.the pdf cracker is well talked about :):):)

wep is easy, backtrack 3,get over 10,000 packets of data, aireplay to speed collection up,aircrack..hey presto..for wpa/wpa2 get a handshake etc with backtrack 3 save your .cap file to your windows desktop.right..if your comp has got nvidia graphics cards 8000 or above use elcomsofts lightning hash cracker,it runs through command prompt and uses the power of the gpu,s on the cards, its fucking quick,i have seen over 76.4 million hits a second with 2 of these, and you can crack a wpa/wpa2 hash

This is so lame...as sticky1254 put it...skiddies.Even with WPA encrypted passwords its still very crackable with a dictionary file and booting your labtop with the back track 3 linux distro.I've done it serveral times.WEP is weak is but WPA is not too far from it.Just need enough packets sniffed and one handshake from the network by knocking them off of it first. If you wanna know more about it send me a messege

So how do you prevent people from looking at what you are doing on the net?
dtrix92 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
to hekma. No, as long as your on their network they can do as they wish, you can change your mac to stop it linking to you hardware if they ever decide to press charges after catching you but no, can't really stop them seeing you. To be honest most people wouldn't even notice your on there network unless your doing something really bandwidth heavy.

Its fine that's a show designed to warn the public.

My god! That ARP poisoning bastard!! He should try packet sniffing on my network. Thats if he can sort my actual wireless connection from the 150 fake ones I use to mask mine. If you have 2 AP's that use the same wireless signal they can ONLY use WEP to communicate between each other. What he is doing is illegal in the UK, if I was that bloke id sue his ass! He probably thanked him!

You could connect via encrypted VPN - but again, it is not 100% secure.
