Yeah, I skated with Ray ( and Jeff ) all the time back then. An unfortunate knee injury kept him from skating at the level he was before. Ray was sick--sheet. To this day I'm still trying to skate like him...I'm just crazy enough to have never stopped.

Did you know Ray Simmons? In my opinion these guys invented gnar and inspired the fuck out of me. Those steep tail were cool looking at the time but lame as hell for anything but ollies.
