Can you measure a 'day' in the bible, though? What time schedule were we on? Obviously not daylight savings, since that hadn't been invented yet. Who's to say that each 'day' in Genesis couldn't have been a period of millions of years? I personally believe that God directed evolution. People make the mistake of taking all of the bible too literally and loosing the real, basic principles of Christianity. It doesn't blind them- they blind themselves.
