Two small points,Mirella so loved the role of Micaela(Carmen) that she named her daughter Micaela.She gave up singing Butterfly because it moved her so she couldn' concentrate on the role whilst singing it.She and Pavarotti (both from Modena) had the same wet nurse,their parents lived streets apart.Mirella once said "You can see who got the most milk!" LOL
