as the saying goes, "those with the most voicing of opinionated disinterest beliefs about something tend to be the less knowledgeable about it." therefore, i come to enlighten.

yes chloesprite that's true.Shiva is described too as having a snake around his neck, uncombed hair, the general look of an ascetic but this pic here is an artist's concept just as the many paintings of Mary and Christ are the concepts of those artists.I hate the intolerance of ppl who use such channels to vent against Hinduism.I don't go to an Islamic/Xian channel and vent.

exactly just like a deity or deva. Shiva is fascinating in that he is many layered. He is a person. He is a Deva. He is God. I believe Buddha to be deva incarnation of Shiva. He extends on all levels between form and formless. He is a human, a deity, a deva, and brahman or God of gods. Every order in every manner his subject to his law. speaking of mahadev, Buddha is also called Mahadeva.

several Gods in Hinduism are portrayed with blue skin, including Shiva, when Shiva is part of the Hinduism. Any God associated with Omnibenevolence, or in other words the resolving of opposing forces, has blue skin. i beleive that God's who sometimes take human form to resovle human disputes is givin blue skin as a way to show their humanist but make them distictly a God. In hindism blue is associated with knowledge and shiva is dipicted with a blue throat from his struggle with the currents.

cinnamonianpalona, that is true. to add Christ said, "there are many mansions in my fathers house." again, somebody went abroad. as far as Allah, i don't know much about it, but it's original form was BASED on a pagan God, not suggesting it's even remotely the same thing as the Islam we know of today. and then Sufism is even something else.

pkoadk, that is the famous serenity prayer. i failed to rightfully quote it. sorry. en[dot]wikipedia[dot]org/wiki/Serenity_prayer.the mantra, no idea. i just spit it out when looking for a way to portray shiva's original position, before Hinduism in the trinity. to me shiva is the trinity.
