The entire world economy is tied the US. When the US hurts, the entire world is hit harder. He is right, both the pound and the Euro (and the canadian dollar) have all fallen against the US dollar becuase the worlds biggest and richest consumer is cutting back economically. This "receesion" might arguably be a good thing for the US dollar, counterary to popular belief.

go to the site of the federal reserve of saint louis and search for the monetary base and see it almost double in 2 months. We don't have that kind of shit in Europe you know. The dollar is going to get devalued.

There is no such thing as an "official" recession. And no, China and Europe have been hurting even more than the U.S.
