See part two: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v... Video Cam Direct Upload Video Outline/Topics covered: Esmee/miarose: Well, they're singers. And I think it's easier to sell your voice because all you need to do is sing. But as far as LisaNova, she seemed to have a whole crew and tons of people telling her how and what to do to make awesome productions. But I agree that Lucy is up there among them. Remember people, it only takes one person to change your life overnight. And I agree on the marketing. Headshots are the calling cards of the trade. Show them your new self every year and get new ones as your look changes. Then postcards to refresh everyone on your new projects every 3-4 months. No projects? No mass mailing needed. actor masculine for all males and females College look = commercial look Sad part about mass mailings is that too many headshots go into the trash But you never know you don't get a confirmation that the agent looked at the headshot like myspace where you know if your mail got read I would like to see your new headshots Lucy and Don't forget that they need to be lithographed and or photo duplicated on top of photo session. Use the standard resume format and keep it the same Abilities can stand out to casting and bring you in for a callback Digital afterwards, but I thing film can be okay if the photog prefers it.

You can also ask as well if you really want to do everything you can to get the gig. But sometimes an overeager actor can be a turnoff, working against you. There's a disconnect actors have to have. To seem like they can care less for a job, and then audition well enough for them to want you back. Even though you really, really, REALLY want the job. =)

...ask for them. They may not know what they want so they will probably want both. But as you probably already well know, it is a waste as most headshots are trashed right after the principle actors are cast. What a shame. And very expensive. My headshots after lithograph printing costs and the photographer's fee run about a buck a piece. I printed 500 lithographs and adding in the fees for the shoot and the prints or index cards or any other need, you can see why you should make the choice.

Well, it has been in my experience that 2 headshots mean two of the same. But usually when they want two, I have seen it to be independent films or student projects. All fine and dandy for reels, but quite unusual for casting on a larger scale. These days electronic casting is the way to go. You are assigned a "Casting Frontier" ID number and it sticks with you for electronic castings. If you should decide to bring 2 different ones, you might as well bring 2 of each as they will probably ask..

When they ask you to bring 2 headshots.. Is it two of the same of different photos?

My apologies. I have wandering eyes. But I've moved now so there isn't that camera angle available anymore. Thanks for taking the time to let me know so I can make my videos better.

Well, you need to sort that out because it's very disconcerting to watch.

Hahaha. I keep looking to upper camera right because there is my computer screen and I have notes I'm using to prompt myself from.
