Have you noticed that everyone hates atheists when we are the least likely to become suicide bombers?I think we need more atheists in government because all of these "compasionate conservatives" (the same people who are sticking their noses into the genitals of teenagers and manage to be pro-life and progressive while being pro-death penalty and christian) are the ones fucking up the country. The theist stance is that a god exists.The Athiest stance is all other stances, including god does not exist, god *might* exist but we lack conclusive evidence, or just that Theists claim is groundless.So anyone who believes anything OTHER than "Yes, there is a god" is an athesit. Even "Maybe" or "there might be" or "I'm not sure".There is one exception. If you believe there is absolutely no way for anyone to *ever* know whether a god exists or not, you are agnostic.

i believe that there is no god in the sense of organized religion. i do believe it is possible that there is a god

I can believe the statistic of atheist being most discriminated against. Maybe though it is because I go to a catholic high school and I am one of three atheist there. 3/1200 about .025% of the school population. :)

You're quality mate!! i'm an athiest myself but its very refreshing to see a thiest argueing with rationality and fairness. Very observant and an unbiased. The divide between athiests and thiests is becoming worryingly agressive and unnecessary. if there were to be a heaven that you beleive in, you certainly deserve a spot there..... if there is by chance, save us a spot and tell god i was only joking all this time.
