Now this is the version I love. Smashmouth did a version of this song and it just...I can't say it sounded bad, but its nothing like this and it doesn't have the same charm this classic has. Always will be one of my top favorite christmas songs :)

I remember listening to this on my little white orion record player with the built in speaker, back in the seventies. Of how it pop and skipped, nothing a few pennies or quarters wouldn't fix. Zep, Sabbath and The Who never sounded so good though. I Agree Childhood is way too short.
