We take the Tesla CD Turbine II for a spin to see if it holds together under speed. Some great revving action with the sights and sounds of the Tesla CD Turbine at hi-rpm. The CD turbine is a disc type turbine made from CD discs, CD spindle, a nozzle, neodymium magnets, and glue. The original Tesla Turbine was invented by the great inventor Nikola Tesla in the early 1900's. He believed his disc turbine design would "scrap all of the heat engines of the world". Hehe, yes, and there are multiple configurations and possibilities of the Tesla CD Turbine to use them on. This week, for example, I'm making a Tesla CD Pump. Just keep in mind the safety considerations outlined in my various instuctional writings. I prefer the water-pressure versions because of the safety issue, and won't run the turbine on air pressure without a tough barrier in place, and safety gear like face-shield and gloves. I think it's all worth it just for the sound, though!

Boring people get bored. You have nothing on your YouTube channel, no one has visited it, and you have only watched 50 videos in the last year. Pathetic. Leave your comments at your own site and stop bothering me with this holy crap shit!

Holy crap this is boring....

Yep, 4/5 people say my Tesla CD Turbine sounds like a lambourghini...which makes sense because the lambo has 6 power cycles per revolution (12 cylinder) and the turbine has 6 disc spacers per revolution. I wonder if 4 disc spacers would sound like a V-8?? (four power cycles per rev) I shall have to build one and see!

like lambo souund lol

thank you for your reply and advice. Much appreciated thank you.

This turbine uses compressed air at about 50 psi. (one must be very careful as the CD's can blow up at high rpm...) The air goes through CD case, then between the CD discs where it gives off it's energy. The air then passes through holes I drilled into the spindle center post, and exits out the bottom of the post. A Tesla Turbine can act as a pump by spinning it backwards to it's normal direction. Check "Tesla Pump" in Youtube for more on Tesla pumps.

were is the outlet. ARE YOUB USIBG COMPRESSED AIR TO DIVE THE CDS.??? WOULD THIS act as a small water pump???
