The kids are good, they may be the Tölzer Knabenchor. And the cartoon is absolutly BEAUTIFUL. I haven't seen such beautiful cartoon animation since Paul Grimault's. It reminds me a bit of his style, like in "le Roi et l'Oiseau"

The great Lucia Popp is Pamina here. She also recorded the Queen of the Night. Fairly rare for one singer to sing both roles. Alas she died too young.

Very nice short! considering I like "The Magic Flute" with the Cubism they used here:)Somehow, something about Pamina here reminds me of Olive Oil(from "Popeye")XD...
