The locking grubscrew is accessible via hole left by rear trigger bolt, you don't need to remove the little cam @ 3:50 to expose the shuttle

Hi there, your video on how to powerup a HW 100 was very good i was just wondering if you know of anyway that this can be done on the MK2.I live abroad and can only buy the MK2 with 7.5 joules. Thanks in advanceML

this power adjust will only work on Mk1 HW100's, on the MK2's the allen bolt has been removed and replaced with a snap bolt, you are unable to move this, to try to will ruin the working parts this will then cost you £££s to repair with a gunsmith

Thanks for the fab video tutorial. I wanted to turn the power down slightly on my 3 yr old rifle as I was punching 13lbs with Crosman Accupells, my fav pellet. Of course I had to wind it in to see what was possible and I was able to push it to 15.87lbs +/- .30 I didn't check accuracy though. I'm now set at 11.6 I did find that I could not screw the adjuster all the way in, if I went more than 4 turns, I found I could not close the cocking lever.

And had you read the first comment..***UPDATE***1. You do not have to remove the barrel.Under the stock near the front of the gun is another bolt, unscrew this (identical to one under trigger mech) and then you can lift the gun out including the still affixed barrel. You wouldn't have had to waste your time by writing something i had already written...

i tried this guide to adjust my hw100s,the one thing you do not need to do is remove the barrel.this is completely un-necessary and all you do is break an established breech seal.agree you don't need the pesky locking grubscrew.
