I began to study Karl Marx, and quit. Ive already seen it in the democratic party. Nothing new to learn.

And take into account HOW MANY he considers less fortunate...that's a lot of money.

I agree that, in general, gas will get more expensive, which is one reason why we need the government to support alternatives energy solutions. Not only will they save us money in the long run, they reduce our dependence on foreign nations. I have never said that I think gas will get cheaper over time.

Please help me understand where it states ANYWHERE that I am responsible to put money in your pocket, food on your table, pay for your utility bills, pay your kids' college, and that you are permitted to steal it from me??? Please...show me where it states this in our Constitution...I was busy working the day they said it on MSNBC so I must have missed it.

lol. You think gas is going to get any cheaper at the current rate that the world is consuming it? Extraction isn't the same as production--We're gonna run out eventually and in the meantime, supply/demand is going to take its course.

Everybody please observe the cranially-challened people ("the Barack Bobble-Heads") that nod their head in the background to this angry American orator. The fact is that these people that he easily influences are uninformed, not intellectual, and incapable of critical thought. It shames me to think these people will most likely vote in our next president. Our politicians, for the most part, are pandering liars that play on the ignorance of the masses!

If you take money from the guy doing well and then give it to those less fortunate, so they can have a shot at the American dream, what do we have?It sounds good to me being im in debt, but I am not sure its right.

The views that democrats have regarding government/economy etc are strikingly similar to that of communism. Maybe I'm mistaken....am I?
Jbarth13 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Exactly how are you foretelling the future? Crystal ball or tarot card reading?Obama has pledged to invest in the alternative energy that will provide the longtime energy solutions we need, create jobs, and better the economy. And why do you care so much about his middle name? He is of no relation to Sadamm. Are you honestly immature enough to stereotype the millions of people with that name as evil?

There is a big difference between being liberal and being socialist. I like having the freedom to open my own business, and see capitalism as a fundamental part of the United States. Capitalism allows us to live the American dream. The problem with our current brand of capitalism is that it keeps millions of hard working poor from living that dream. The basic idea is good, but various programs need to be changed to allow people to raise themselves and their kids from poverty via work and talent. |
