From a Liberterian:Congress and the Senate make the regulations, tarrifs and laws. It was at the insistence of Democratic congresses that banks signed loans to people who couldn't afford them. Republicans didn't put a stop to it when they took office. If they were serious about stable economic policies all that was neccessary was to vote in good practises and override that fool Bush whenever they needed to. No, they've sat on their hands.

5.6 trillion in surplus???....WOW....what a lie!!! under clinton???...lol...we had a 5.6 trillion debt by the time billy left office and bushy added another 5 to it to make it around 10.4 trillion...clinton did have lesser deficits than under reagan and bush...he was slightly better fiscally than bushy boys and reagan...however clinton surplus is a concocted lie...we never had surpluses since 1970s...the SPEAKER of the house shud know better...oops...wait a min...shez a dumbocrat...excused.
