I have a modle of the Robotech Mac II Monster from Matchbox, and it's still in the original box and I was looking for a way to make another one for display so I can leave it in it's box. I think I'm going to try this out soon..

I did a tray for my Aunt and Uncle who play bridge. Painted wood tray, thenI put cards all the way around the edge. Made sure my surface was level and did a clear poured resin, came out cool, and was once of a kind gift.

This video gives the impression that pourable silicone is only available as a hard to measure assymetrical mix. There are pourable silicones that are 1:1 mix. Much easier to use.

this would also be very useful if you want to duplicate old school models, conversions, or if your making a custom army and using another armies rules main models
