Here's your argument broken downa) shellfish + etc. were unfit to eat prior to sacrificing animals for one's atonement.b)Christ sacrificed himself for us so there is no need to SACRIFICE shellfish etc.Therefore: one can EAT shellfish etc.You're saying that he sacrificed himself so we dont have to sacrifice certain animals, but that doesn't make them "clean"

Shellfish, as well as numerous other animals, were deemed unclean and unfit to eat when the Israelites were preparing to sacrifice animals for atonement for their sins. Because Christ sacrificed himself, there is no need to sacrifice animals, which means the eating of shellfish or pigs or rats or skunks or whatever is perfectly fine, if you choose to eat them. I hope this clears everything up. So pig out. No pun intended.
