Well once a few kids in my class asked my social studies teacher about Oceana because we had a geography quiz and she said that it wasn't learned here. Well, I guess maybe a few schools might learn it...

In America we learn that Australia's is a country and a continent. We don't call the continent Australasia or Oceana.

im from australia and yep we are the continent as a single country. australasia is the surrounding asian countries that are close to our country,. but we've always been known to be a continent just as Australia
