That could be the case if the genus of alder used was Mexican alder, or alnus jorullensis.Unfortunately, all Fender guitars are made from Alnus Rubra, which only grows in the Pacific Northwest. So yeah that kinda disproves your theory. And if that happened, then why can you take factory tours of the Fender factory in Corona, California? Are those fake guitars and amps they are making?Nice try bro.

lol to schnurr31... mate if u are a good guitarist u dont need to own a fender ok!not even a squireanyone with a brain and music ability/knowledge knows that fender unless u buy custom shop is made to shit all quality specs... the whole line of fender amps to this day is made in china and sent back to mexico for the wood... same goes with the guitars... ur trying to blues guitarists? john mayer? yeh lad yeh lad?
