My bad: If you wanna go Rocky-style or toe to toe in VB, you can too. Just just sluggers like Ippo (style inspired by Dempsey & Tyson, 2 of the most feared of their time!). In VB, styles DO make fights: you have Hitman (think Thomas Hearns), Peek-a-boo (tyson), Boxer-fighters etc. Overall, VB is still better. Now, if only they could combine the speed and playability of FN2004 with the styles of FNRd3, then we'd have a worthy contender to VB.

Each has its strenghts and weaknesses:Fight Night 2004 (IMHO the most playable in the series) has a great parrying system and the KD/KO ragdoll animations are the best bar none.VB on the other hand, REALLY makes you a ring general if you're good enough - it's not just 2 guys swaying & swaying away... you can slip under punches, side-step and counter-punch. The body blows are ridiculously done however - opponents flung away like they've been hit with a shotgun!
