My shot has been falling short. Why am I missing? I think I'm not jumping high enough. Do you have to jump high on your jump shot? If so, how high does a 5 foot 8 person have to jump?

zHBK 160z gave good advice as far as following the video is concerned. Pistol Pete seems to have written the textbook as far as shooting the set and jump shot is concerned. In practice, while doing as adviced, do it beginning from 1 foot from the ring from all directions. Upon making the shot, move one feet back until you are way out there at least 3 feet at the top of the free throw arc.

Learning to shoot by watching Larry Bird is like learning how to bat by watching Julio Franco. Beasts of their own habit. It would seem that bird released his uber-high arc shots from behind his head.. Just as Julio wrapped the bat completely around him, twisted up in the box..
