Exodus Chapter 3 Verses 13-16:...YHWH the God of your fathers the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob has sent me to you. This is my name forever.." yhwh is the name of god. not the title. the word allah does not exist in the torah or gospels nor does the word yhwh exist in the koran. these are 2 different gods. muh just linked allah to the god of the jews. cheers.

dexty, unfortunately you cannot prove otherwise, everything is clearly "documented" in the Quran. The "day of judgment" is nothing like the description in either the judaic/christian/islamic religions. Although you will definitely not accept my answer but it is this: we will judge ourselves after death. Life goes on and we will re-incarnate in order to keep learning how to be creators. We will judge what we did right and what we did wrong. "Embracing Islam" won't help me one bit.

the contraction of al- and ʾilāh in forming the term Allāh ("the god", masculine form) parallels the contraction of al- and ʾilāha in forming the term Allāt ("the goddess", feminine form)
rickru1 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
The term Allāh is derived from a contraction of the Arabic definite article al- "the" and ʾilāh "deity, god" to al-lāh meaning "the [sole] deity, God" (ho theos monos).[4] Cognates of the name "Allāh" exist in other Semitic languages, including Hebrew and Aramaic.[3] The corresponding Aramaic form is אֱלָהָא ˀĔlāhā in Biblical Aramaic and ܐܰܠܳܗܳܐ ˀAlâhâ or ˀĀlōho in Syriac

there are many names that the jews use in order to invoke God. - Hashem, Adonai, Elah, and so forth and so on. Look up YHVH (username Zaman27) it's very well expalained.
