If you watch the show closely, you can see that Desi not only knew his lines, he knew everyone else's as well. Watch closely and you can see him mouth the lines of Lucy, Bill, and Vivian as they are saying them.

I read somewhere that this guy was a true genious. He had a photographic memory and can remember his lines by just reading it once.

I took care of Desi Arnaz back in the 1980s when he was a patient at U.C.S.D Medical in San Diego . He had me running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Back then the patients could smoke but not in the rooms because of the O.2 on the wall but he tryed. At the time he told me he was teaching at State collage. I got chewed out by my charge nurse because i spent to much time with him and forgot about the other patients . Hell it was worth it i must say .

so cute them together i loved it when he said 'i love lucy wasnt just a title' bless and i love it when they first bet maureen o hara introduced them reading her book she said he didnt really pay her attention! maureen said sorry about that-so apparently lucille pulled her chest up and went after him and the rest is 'i love lucy' bless the 2 well 3 (o hara) legends stars always x
