Why, 50 years after independence, is Ghana, which is rich in minerals and is a stable democracy, still one of the poorest countries in the world? This documentary examines the activities of multinational corporations, as well as the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, to find out whether they have actually made countries like Ghana worse off. And, most importantly, asks how we, as consumers and citizens, can make a difference.----------Part 1 of 6: Intro; Labor

West and Central. From Liberia/Guinea all the way to Cameroon in the East and down to Angola in the south. Igbo (Nigeria), Gold Coast (Ewe, Aja, Fon, Akan, etc), Congo (DRC, RC, and Angola) all had extremely high numbers.

Look people. If that guy wanted to help those people he would show those people how to make a water filter, boil their water, grow some food, lay some pipes and how to make and market their own product. And not put them out of a job by talking bad about the people they work for.He seems like such a rich guy so he should be able to build them a cheap green house to grow food and give them a pot to boil their water.Do you guys believe me or what.

i agree they are acting that way. But it's important to be enraged and a dick about it. this is our world. people are dying and getting fucked by the global banks. have you heard the quote "if your not angry you aren't paying attention."

Once again Pakistan Govt forced to run after IMF. Why? IMF & International Banks meant to loan to the poor countries like Pakistan impose such heavy conditions/rate of interest that eventually it is the common & low paid citizen who suffers. The investor creates inflation in return to the taxes imposed or subsidiaries withdrawn. Pakistans ruling class doesnt stop it lavishness finally being paid by a low paid citizen. How will Pakistan survive with this dogmatism at the govt/ruling class level
