2-I don't take others score's suggestions into account because these are pieces of advice to perform the character and not tempo's indications. In short:the tempo is right-not too fast!(the score is the confirmation).You should study the score to agree with me.However,the Finale is wonderful.

1-I don't believe the tempo is too fast,and I want to prove it.Score's indication for"qual cor tradisti"is AndanteSostenuto 4/4;when chorus sings"Norma!deh!Norma!scolpati! "and so on,the tempo is AllegroModerato-always4/4.Suddenly,when Pollione says"Oh!pena!"for the second time, the tempo becomes PiùMosso and it grows slowly PiùModerato when Norma says"Si!oltre ogni umana idea"-precisely the tempo becomes PiùModerato on the word"idea"-(d natural-c natural,c natural).

Nice but the tempo is too fast; in my opinion all the dramatism of this Finale (highly appreciated by Wagner) looses its effect.
