600 Billion of the bailout money was used to give Bear Stearns Execs Christmas Bonuses. The whole 600 Billion. The true total of the bailout to Bear Stearns was 1.3 Trillion. Basically 700 Billion plus a few sweeteners here and there.

The basement is leaking so a new roof won't fix the problem. Revisit the mortgage rates and adapt them to allow people to pay mortgages.

Finally, an intelligent, thoughtful look at the market place. Is it only the American public that see the forest through the trees on this ridiculous mess? Our government seems to need a heavy dose of basic logic. The idiotic bailout garbage was becoming ad nauseum.
