why do people give the negative thumb to people who say they like Amy's version better?It's their opinion! I like both, but I first heard Amy's version so that kinda stuck in my head first.

Amy's version tries to be too clever for its own good and loses something of the right feel for the song. People only say they prefer it because it's the one they know. Elliot smacks this song esp the one he performed on AI-I prefer that arrangement to this one. I think this song sits better on a male vocal anyway and a change of key might spoil it. EY has the right chops for it. The only version arguably better than his is George Benson's. Elliot does well to hold his own next to that version.

Nice voice, but nothing very original about it, or for that matter about the arrangement, which is pretty dull and plodding.
