Elaine Paige does the best version of this song and her voice fits perfectly with the backing track. My friend has somehow got hold of a bootleg of Agnetha and Frida singing this song and 'Another You, Another Me'. I love the way Elaine sings and dance at 1.15 and i lovethe look on her face at 2.50 Fantastic can anyone imagine Agentha & Elaine Paige singing this as a duet.

Wow. Thanks for posting. I never saw this before! I remember the "One Night in Bangkok" video on U68 all the time but not this video. This is by far my favorite song from Chess.

I can say this, Idina Menzel was def, NOT the best Elphaba, but Elaine was by far the best in Chess. She had charming qualities, however there have been future performances that have touched the character on a deeper level. Unlike what Elaine does with every role she attempts.

Actually i think that Rices part in this CHESS project was more like virtual. BB did all the work. They had the idea, they wrote the music. They just needed some famous UK name involved to be 100% sure. So i do not see any point here to discuss about ABBA/Rice. CHESS is ABBA with other singers. CHESS is ABBA without Agnetha and Frida. But if ABBA had released songs like "One Night In Bangok" or "I Know Him So Well" then ABBA have had another 1-2 #1 hits without doubts all over the World.
