paul stopped writin those kind of songs around the late 60's though. he wrote songs like helter skelter and live and live and let die which had a little less of that pop crap

i can kinda see how lennon sorta hated mccartney, he was just so dam poppy!! it would drive me crazy if all someone could write was poppy stuff!!but what the hell do i know, im only 23 and i dont know the whole beatles catalogue from a to z.i just dont like super happy gay pop!bobbin your head from side to side and lookin like a dummy.lennon probably hated that shit!but what the hell do i know, im just ranting, sorry beatles fans!

If you think these songs sound good now, you wouldn't believe how good they sounded in the summer of '66: no one had stereos with decent bass, yet the bass really came across on these two songs; the 45RPM singles had the bass EQed much higher than the later LP & CD releases.-The vocals and drumming were to die for: I'd listen to the top 40 on my transister radio over and over, to hear Paperback Writer come up multiple times, to analyze it. I was 11 and had been playing guitar for a year... |
