If the military tested that then they can highlight the shortcomings and then have the manufacturer fix them. The adhesive can be fixed, so it's no excuse that the military shouldn't test it.

I don't know how many times other people posted this but, extreme heat and diesel based oil melts completely melts the glue that holds those ceramic plates together, after the glue melts, each and every will cut through the armor like butter. that is why the army has banned it so that soldiers don't get their armor melted and then blamed when that armor doesn't protect them.

thats bullshit that the military isnt using this armor. they banned it before they even tested it. the designer of the intercepter, standard issue body armor for soldeirs, even said that he would take dragon skin over the intercepter.
