Is MSF still going?I trained there about 7 years ago, was a great place, if expensive. I paid about 700 quid in landing fees (about 20 quid a shot back then (plus VAT))My instructors were Claire Davidson, Jonathon Drayton and James Murphy.Congleton 3 VFR to Sleap, Tatenhill or Wolverhampton was the norm, although I remember once going off 6L via the low level corridor!

you want to try landing on the glideslope at 70kias on a 3 mile runway when the taxi turnoff to the parking area is 2/3 of the way down the runway and you have an A330 behind you on a 5 mile final!

Manchester Airport has only this week lost ALL long haul flights by British Airways and BMI has also pulled the plug on ALL long haul flights in the same week! This was in addition to recording a record 10% drop in passengers from the previous year!Manchester like it's grotty little airport is in serious terminal decline!Google it!
