Spinal Tap was modeled after Saxon, at least Derek Smalls was modeled after their origianl bass player. They even say so in a Spinal Tap interview. Haha...Saxon are better. They do rock.

I wish these guys would come to America. It's logical they don't come, seeing as it probably wouldn't be very profitable, and they still do well in Europe. I love these guys. Just good old gut-thumping rock n roll!!!

Yep. Saw the tour at the Seattle Center Coliseum. Everyone was there to hear "Say What You Will" and hear Maiden. But I remember before Maiden's set, people getting up to buy Saxon t-shirts. |
