possibly the best thing i have ever seen on youtube. this upload gives hope that technology could be used in amazingly nice ways. but irony lies in the comments post here. what can i say? hail bunuel, screw idiotic chain comments.by the way, l'age d'or is really a masterpiece. i have seen fifteen or so bunuel films and l'age d'or is one of my favourites with "los olvidados", "viridiana", and "le fantome de la liberte".

No, he worked on this one too. They wrote both films together.

As I recall, Dalí had nothing to do with L'Age D'Or. The film they worked on together was "Un perro andalou".

Thanks for posting this! This is easily the most authentic dream sequence I have ever seen. It really captures how weird things will happen out of the middle of nowhere, how someone will say something nonsensical that makes complete sense to you in the dream, how size and direction get skewed, how difficult it is to try to do things, and how the flow of conscious will suddenly divert to something entirely different. |
