> Saying something is Bullshit without> reason is avoiding the questionThe question I am "avoiding" is that you claim that your invisible sidekick posesses some unique set of attributes that magically guarantee his existence, even though all other deities would require supporting evidence. The reason why that is bullshit is that it is an extreme non sequitur argument. There is no logical, philosophical or empirical reason why the conclusion would follow from the premises.

> Yes it does! It mentions the planets and the> moon and the Sun all moving in its own orbit! The planets, as seen from the Earth, appear to be moving along two dimensional paths on the surphase of a sphere, even though they are, in reality, moving along three dimensional orbits in space.Does the quran really talk about three dimensional orbits? And not two dimensional paths, which would reflect the general scientific knowledge 1500 years go?

> mentions> sending down IRON also. Why would the quran> say this?My hypothesis:Iron meteorites are pretty common, they look and feel different from normal stones, and a meteorite falling from the sky can occasionally be seen/heard, following by the discovery of the actual meteorite on the ground.Suppose some camel driver observes this 1500 years ago, it becomes a legend ("god sent the iron stone falling down from the sky") and so it ends up in the quran.Do you find this implausible?

>> 4)Do you have a theory on how an immaterial>> being might function, or how thinking might>> take place without a brain?> No I don't. You wrote earlier that you do not have, or need, evidence that god exists. Now you admit that you have no idea of any mechanism that would make it possible for god to exist. Thanks, that's all I needed to know.

>> 2)Can you list some scientific discoveries>> that were spotted in the quran BEFORE they>> were discovered by scientists?> Yes I can but this would mean monthsIt would take MONTNS to mearely NAME them?Come on, just write a list of scientific discoveries that were made from the quran before they were discovered by science. The name of a scientific discovery consists typically of a few words, how can it take months to write? Please explain. You cannot stand before your claims.

> Look I've had enough of your silly arguments> so you can go on posting your commentsMy arguments are silly because you cannot answer them.Realizing this, you back off, and try to tell yourself that you have not failed.

> 1)125,000 messengers> ask another Muslim the same question and > he will give you the same answer!> I also said approximatelyYou did write 125,000 messengers, that is, you wrote the number with three significant numbers. The true number could then be in the range 124,500 ... 125,499, allowing it to be rounded to the nearest thousand, otherwise you would be lying. So .. how do you know this fairly accurate number with certainty and where's the list with the names?

Look I've had enough of your silly arguments so you can go on posting your comments, I'm going back to my enjoyable life cos it really is quite sad when your debating with someone who not only ignores you once, but does it again and again and again! So my final words to you, peace and may you find Islam. You can swear and insult me if you wish about not going anywhere near Islam etc etc etc but I think you know deep down Islam is the truth judging by your limited responses & avoidance!

CONTINUED...Also, science cannot explain some things but that doesn't mean science is wrong! It may not be able to explain something due to technological advances for example. However when we are dealing with how God might function, we cannot do so because we are completely different and you cannot feel, see or touch God also- so we do not know how God might function! We do know that what God has mentioned is a miracle and not the word of man because man did not know such things at the time!

4)Do you have a theory on how an immaterial being might function, or how thinking might take place without a brain? No I don't. Look I answer your questions to the point yet you seem to be going everywhere. And the fact that I have stated no does not mean that you have somehow argued better! No, it simply means that we do not know because God is unique and diffeernt to us so we do not know, that's the answr. CONTINUED... |
