you don't need a lot of electricity to cause an explosion. as long as there is a flammable gas and a spark you get a boom. and by the way, i work with electronics and the charge would not have stopped with the host as the wire was insulated. as long as you strip both ends of a wire, you can pass a charge through it without shorting. and i'm not saying that this proves it's real, but it is certainly plausable. i can't say for sure what happened off screen.

u can tell it was a controled explosion somebody fliped a switch or something one the guy holding the needle would of stopted the charge and the nylon wouldn't genarate enough electricity.
