I think you overstate "net neutrality". Many artists have achieved considerable success through the net - in campaigns in which big companies have skillfully manipulated the net. I also think you miss the extremism of the net - if it replaced conventional media we would miss balanced reports and intelligenct analysis. Blogs are generally opinion not news, although they can complement and challenge conventional media
