Welcome to the 2nd installment of my VPT series. You'll find that this video has a bit more "meat" than the last. Enjoy it, and as always, if you have any questions or comments, just post them... the more the marrier! Also, to clear up some confusion, I'm not using a module. I'm using the Alesis Trigger IO to plug my RET edrum into to trigger SOFTWARE!!! I use BFD and EZDrummer.-MikeyVPT

Make sure to watch the other videos! I explain this all.Quick: cymbals ARE compatible with a module. The are the best feeling cymbals I've found. There is a light stick sound with the cymbals. They're great!-mikey

The hi hat and ride sound great! I'm planning to buy a Roland TD12 Set and I would like to know:1.- Are these cymbals compatible with the Roland Td12 Module?2.- Do these cymbals feel real?3.- What's the real sound of these cymbals? Do they sound like real cymbals or they sound like hitting a pad? This question is because I don't want to annoy my neighbors LOL

Mike... (good name, by the way!)The inputs for the IO recognize two signals. The drums send out both signals via Stereo cables. They provide a TIP, RING, and SLEEVE connection (TRS). This sends a rim and head signal separately to the IO which is interpreted by whichever software you use!Make sense?-mikey

Hey dude, awesome video!Just wondering though... with only 10 inputs how can the Alesis IO recognize the rim shots and bell sounds aswell?!Thanks,Mike.
