I completely agree. I own a pistol that never leaves my closet, and is only there for emergency situations.But what the fuck does ANYONE need with a fully automatic assualt rifle? Who is breaking into your home? Armored bears?

I agree with Ali that the gun control people and NRA need to find some middle ground. Everyone should have the right to keep a sidearm in their home or buisness to protect themselves & families, but there's no reason why people should be allowed to own AK-47s, Uzis, M4s and the like.
