Soundbite Central: Ayaan Hirsi Ali on HardTalk

Ayaan Hirsi Ali was born in Somalia, became a citizen of the Netherlands and now lives in the US. She was a member of the Dutch Parliament. She also wrote and provided the voice-over for the film Submission -- a film which criticised the treatment of women in Islamic society. The film's director Theo van Gogh was murdered by a radical Islamist in November 2004.
