why does everyone have to separate hydrogen cars from electric cars? a hydrogen fuel cell is pretty much like a battery, a way of storing the energy required to power the car. but your right. right now we no matter what chevy say about not having the technology to make the volt, we have Lithion Ion and even lead acid batteries that are currently available and mass produced. this car is just proof. one of the best looking cars that goes 120mph for 200+ miles on pure electricity.

electric cars are the future make no mistakeit is the only way we can save ourselves from the addiction to oil.hydrogen protypes are costing an excess of $500,000 to buildthese could feasibly be put together in different formats for the average american family at reasonable cost in a fairly short period of timehydrogen cars are at least 15 years offbut dont get me wrong i still love muscle cars

Well, they have to comprimise. wide tires means more traction, usually that is what we want. More traction means more speed, but it also means more energy.

The Tesla vehicle earns credit for innovation, but until they can create a sedan that gets the range of 200 miles plus, with four seats, four passengers, and a trunk full of items from the market. I think we should remain in reality. Remember: their range is based on the small light roadster, with only one adult passenger weighing 150lbs. Of course the weather has to be around 70f d' for maximum range. Any colder or warmer shortens range dramatically. This is the challenge for the Big 3.

I can't figure out why some of the radical greens are against this car? I guess they want an electric Trabant. The only thing that I would change on it is to give it wider tires. Those P225s just aren't very wide.

It designed to compete with other high price sports cars, not cheap junkers, stop whining about it price, hopefully enough rich people will buy these to bring the price of battery manufacturing down enough so we can all get cheap electric junkers.
