Short film which looks at the evidence for Albert Einstein being on the autism spectrum. This possibility also highlights the strong positives that many people with autism can have. Too many films focus on the negative aspects, but there are positives too for most!

I'm a psychology student and I don't think Einstein had autism. It is a cultural judgment to say because he was different he has a disease. It is popular pseudoscience. We must limit the definition of disease to a condition that disadvantages or is distressing to the individual. Einstein's social skills were not at all bad, and he did make some good moral judgments. If he had focused on developing social skills I'm sure they would have bloomed even more. He liked physics because its fantastic

It sounds like I need to talk someone and to get a hug. I can be quite *gentle* towards a woman... considering I'm a man

cont. so if i can do it, so can einstein,by d way im not trying 2 flatter myself or any autistic,by saying that d great einstein falls under d same spectrum as us( i may be wrong)but according 2 this vid and soem documentaries that i have read,he does seem 2 be autistic,he had a speech delayed til 4,he seemd dumb at school, was very quiet, anti social, has also been mention that he kept repeating words that others say(echolalia),at times people had trouble understanding his lectures or conversatns

well umm he he i failed 2 understand u the whole way,not ur fault im autistic,or have asperger's but wel i was just saying that, judging by what it has been written in history that its pretty relevant that einstein had soem form of autism, and i kno that seemingly being able 2 communicate well with others throws u off the spectrum, but im an aspie and i have found ways 2 bypass my studerness, and confuseness while conversating with jut about any1( its not easy but its possible)cont.

thanks for your insight. I also think that way. I'm just usually more concerned about what I think means and is, and less about how I believe what I think defines anyone or seems to be knowledge produced through any one person or set or people. this is the only difference between me and you; it can't impart any kind of divergence between your thought processes and mine, any such divergence must be an expression of the level of qual. of our conjoint capacity to both produce thought & communicate.
