Everyone is alone in the world. The emptiness and loneliness isn't inside us, but around us. We have inside us an ocean of things to gift away, but how many people want to receive it?

Amazing metaphor, I truly feel like I've been Alice.

guessing that this short is from 2005, about when Elias Koteas shot House in 'For No Reason' it seems plausible that Koteas approached Laurie for this bizarre cameo, indeed. 'course I might be wrong

Yo Selma Blair has such a fine face. Does she not?

Very interesting...I liked it.And I love the Bob Marley song in the end credits.
barrygenemurphy (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Ridiculously sentimental. The characters although well acted still seemed 2 dimensional and never surfaced above a stereotypical performance. Amazing production standard but why put so much effort into such a peurile idea? Could have been funnier instead of veering towards sentimentality, but that I guess is in the short story. It started so well.
