Here we have it! The BFD drum software, Alesis Trigger IO, and the RET Percussion Stealth kit. This is just a quick peak into what I've found the Virtual Percussion Technology package can do. I'm hoping to get more in depth with the functions of the BFD software, Alesis IO, and RET kit.If you want to see something specific, I'm sure I can either address it here, or for wider demand, in another video. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!-MikeyVPT

Because I use an external sound card (PreSonus FireBox), I have some outputs, which I could use to go to a mixer/powered speaker/amp.I select the FireBox as my sound card, then I'm off! Here, I recorded the drums to Cubase, then imported the drum track into Vegas Video. Thanks for watching! Make sure to subscribe and check out my latest vids!-mikey

how did you connect it to an amp?or how could you?

They look and sound great. Almost enough to make me want to move to the states just to get some. =)

I wanted to clear something up here. The RET Percussion drum sets are MORE quiet than a practice pad, while giving you a much better feel than anything else on the market.Just our opinion, though!-RET Crew

Hahaha... dude, maybe you DID watch all the videos! This is BFD1.5, by the way. Not EZdrummer. That's in different videos ;-)Thanks again!-mikey

Hahaha you again... hilarious!

Ah, I see. Thanks for clearing that up. I suppose this kit wouldn't be for me as I'm more in the market for an E-Kit to accommodate the needs of my touchy neighbours. =)S2.0 looks and sounds fantastic. It's supposed to be shipped in June, right? Also, I realise you aren't particularly fond of E-Kits, but have you by any chance had experience with Hart Dynamics? Their kits have also caught my eye. Sorry if this is a bit off subject, I'm just very keen to hear a professional's opinion!

Thanks for the message!Firstly, these are NOT V-Drums. These are RET Drums using VPT (Virtual Percussion Technology). To be honest, software is always going to sound the same through any kit... the BIG difference is how it feels. It doesn't make sense to hit a mesh or rubber pad, to hear an awesome acoustic drum sound. Drummers aren't often fooled. If you hit a DRUM with DRUM HEADS, and you hear a DRUM sound... well, it just makes sense!I don't have my S2.0 yet... ;-)Thanks!

Great vid. YouTube needs more videos like this. Very good quality stuff. It's surprisingly hard to find proper videos that demonstrate V-Drums properly. How would you say this setup compares to a Roland TD-12 kit through Superior 2.0?

Hey, thanks a lot. That means so much to me.You better subscribe, because I've got MANY more videos coming up!-mikey
