I've just found the exact same statement on a google group;the writer of that claim never gave any proof of his statement since it's totaly groundless. You should admit that you've read it on the internet instead of embarassing your self writting stupid comments trying to pretend you're a mealy mouthed opera insider.

I asked you the source of your preposterous claim that Gencer a singer with huge vocal flaws gave technical advices to Schwarzkopf who sang an entirely differnt repertoire and a totally different style of singing. You try to avoid giving direct answers to direct questions. You only write obscure comments. Some fans of her gave her a nickname according to your twisted ratiocination this fact manifests the truth of your ridiculous claim that Gencer gave technical advices to Schwarzkopf.

You're a righteous little fiddlestick. Do you even read the nonsense you're blurting out? Your head is stuck so far into your rear you've lost your bearings.

You write any piece of crap you've read on the internet pretending to be an opera expert. Some of us are not naive. You're nothing but an internet troll who spends his life bashing Domingo and Carreras. Please stick to famous tenor arias of the Italian repertoire making comments about the high notes;anything further is a strech for you.

Some of us or their families have more access to segments of society than you ever will during your feeble existence. I am neither a Shcwarzkopf nor Gencer fanatic but recognize their contributions to the greatest art form every created by man. Now get lost you little wannabe.

Schwartzkopf's repertoire was entirely different except some Mozartian roles, few lyric roles of Verdi and Liu.You have no access to information and knowledge. You've read a stupid google group post written probably by a Gencer fanatic and you're pretending to be an opera insider.

There's a reason she was in the second cast at Scala.
TheInquisitive4Ever (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
There is a good reason why there were calling her La Regina at La Scala which is known to have a very demanding core audience. Get a clue, will ya!

While you were reading biographies, some of us had direct access to information and knowledge. Now keep on reading! lol

Everyone knows Gencer's voice was very flawed. Her whole voice was artificially constructed by covering her tone, pushing her voice forsing her chest register in order to sound like a dramatic soprano but her voice was very small for Verdi repertoire . |
