well then you have to say koreans and japanese are chinese then too. they all originally spoke chinese...and besides....korean and japanese are languages of chinese minorities. Taiwan is definitely not a part of China. In 1949, ROC moved to Taiwan, therefore, PRC has no control of Taiwan. #2, Taiwan fulfills all 8 internationally recognized criteria for a country. #3, the Taiwan Relations Act states that the entity "Taiwan" should unofficially be considered a government, country etc. #4 China has not collect Taxes or controlled Taiwan's government.
