if you still looking for one and you are seeking for a tablet PC(laptop) i would best say for now is the Fujitsu T5010, it not cheap but for what it will give you it all worth it, next along the line is toshiba M700 or the HP tx2500, HP tx2500 is great for the price but it also come with a few problem eg. screen, and processor. the ST5112 may not be great due to only one side and that mean scratched issue in long term of usage. overall i would say for today the Fujitsu T5010 is the best

to be more correct the Cintiq is not a PC it a monitor Graphic tablet.

You also may be interested to know that HP came out with a 21" fully touchscreen PC (It looks amazing) and I'm going to find out if you can use it to draw with on Corel/Adobe (I heard its not pressure sensitive but proximity sensitive)hp. com/united-states/campaigns/touchsmart/If I can draw well on the touchsmart I would buy it in an instant.

Axiotron actually converted the Macbook into tablet form and you can read more about it on "Macworld" Magazines website if you have any concerns (but its not a scam or anything this project is very well known):macworld. com/article/55066/2007/01/modbook_fl.html

However, the Cintiq is meant for artists so if you aren't serious about it then stick to the $100 tablets (there is also the 12wx = 12" screen model for about $1000)If you want a functional PC (best of both worlds though you'll only get a 14" monitor) then there are products like the R400 offered by Toshiba or the T4220 & ST5112 (as shown in this video) offered by Fujitsu among others.Just to let you know Mac has its own tablet PC as well if you are a Mac fan (I'm a PC man)

I think you might want to stick with the 21ux Cintiq - its 21" in comparison to the around 14" monitors on tablet notebooks not to mention they have 3 different pens which fill every one of your art needs.I think it might be a good choice for you to look up the visboard (VA1-19B = 19" and the superior VA1-21B which has the larger screen AND DVI port) which is going to cost you around $500 for the 19" (which I don't suggest you get unless you try it out first) or probably $700-$800 for the 21"
